How God turns Little into Legacy

Hey ForevaBlack family, do you know that God can turn your little into legacy? God can do so much with our little and make it become massive. We’re always looking at what we have and saying we only have a little bit of resources, how will we be able to make it into something? Sometimes we can’t expand our small, but God can.

For example, in 1 Kings 17 when the widow baked the cake for the prophet Elijah; after she said she only had a handful of flour and only a little bit of oil. God told Elijah to tell her that the flour would not be used up, and the oil would not run dry. The widow’s plan was to bake the cake for her and her son, so that they could eat and then die; but God had other plans. God already had plans to turn her little into legacy, she just had to trust what God spoke through the prophet.

God took this moment that started in lack and transformed into a testimony of provision and faithfulness. The widow thought it was the end for her and her son, but God stepped in. All because the widow trusted the word of God, her family was able to live. After her act of faithfulness, God kept his word, and her jar never ran dry. God turned this into legacy because this was an act that became a well-known story that lasts for generations. God can multiply what we have, and it can outlive us, THAT IS LEGACY.

I’m not sure who I’m speaking to today, but God can turn that handful into an overflowing load. We all start from small beginnings, no one’s starting point is big. We may think it is so small that it doesn’t matter but small beginnings become the foundation for miracles. You’re probably wanting to start that business but only $100 to start off with, but God says that is enough to get you off the ground. You’re scared to go back to school because you don’t make much to support you, but God says be obedient and watch how He moves on your behalf.

God can bless any area of your life that you may feel is small and make it into a glorious legacy. All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed; a small seed grows into BIG trees. Remember that. There’s nothing God cannot do. Do not despise small beginnings, give God what you have, and He will do the rest. I love you all so much! Talk to you next Thursday <3
