Reclaim What is Yours

God granted us authority and power when we came out of the womb. We are His children, and He gave us the resources and the keys to open things in our life. There are things that will take the life and light out of us, and sometimes it’s hard for us to crawl out of that dark space. One day we have the power, and the next we feel like the problem or whatever it may be, has the power over us. I’m here to tell you today that that is not true, we will always have the victory because of who we belong to.

I lost my spark a lot from last year until this year until one day I decided to take my power and authority back. I allowed the enemy to be in my head long enough, and I got tired of it, so I did something about it. It’s time to reclaim what is rightfully yours! Now that I have reclaimed my power, I realize more and more that God is always within us we just have to fight and stand firm in our position. I took back what was mine – my identity, my voice, my peace.

When we reclaim our power, this isn’t to say that we will never feel weak again. It simply means that when those times come, we will remember whose we are. God’s love and presence isn’t just a one time thing, this is something we are blessed to have forever. Stand firm. When you feel weak, lean on God who is always strong.

Because of who you belong to, victory is not something you have to earn — it’s already yours. Your job is to remember, stand, and act like it. When you reclaim your place, you don’t just shine for yourself — you become a light that helps others find their way out of the dark.

If you’re reading this and you feel dim, I see you. Take one small step today to take back your authority. Speak life over yourself. Protect your mind. Walk forward in the identity God gave you. You were born with power. Now go use it.

I’m going to leave you with two beautiful scriptures that will help you reclaim your power and stand your ground:

Genesis 1:26-28 “God gave humanity dominion (authority) over the earth, to rule and steward His creation. From the start we were created with purpose and power.

Luke 10:19 “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
