Have you ever taken a moment to name your season?
Not a phrase — but with a single word that speaks to where you are right now. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually. A word that holds the highs and the lows, the joy and the pain. A word that grounds you and where you are.
Sometimes we move through life so fast, we forget to ask: What is this season teaching me?
Maybe you’re in a season of rebuilding.
Maybe it’s letting go.
Maybe it’s peace. Or surrender. Or rest.
Maybe it’s blooming after a long winter.
For me, my word is Grace.
Not because everything is easy, but because God has been faithful. I’m still grieving. I’m still healing. But I’m also stepping into blessings I prayed for — and I’ve realized that grace has covered me through everything.
Grace reminded me that I don’t have to be perfect to be progressing.
Grace made room for both tears and laughter.
Grace held me on the days I couldn’t hold myself.
But this post isn’t really about me — it’s about YOU.
So let me ask you:
What is your word for this season?
What word keeps showing up in your prayers, your thoughts, your quiet moments?
What word reminds you to keep going?
Maybe your word is “strength” — because you’re learning how strong you really are.
Maybe it’s “stillness” — because your soul is craving peace.
Maybe it’s “hope” — even if it's just a flicker right now.
Whatever it is, own it. Speak life into it. Let it guide your healing, your choices, your prayers.
And if you don’t know your word yet — that’s okay too. Take your time. Ask God. Reflect. Your word will find you. Trust me, He will respond.
This season may not be perfect, but it’s purposeful.
And naming it is a beautiful place to start.
I love you all. A scripture I want to leave you with is Ecclesiastes 3:1 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…”
