To the Person Grieving:

To the Person Grieving:

Grieving is very tough; it can be overwhelming.

Grief is strong, but you are stronger.

You may be grieving the friendship you lost.

You may be grieving the relationship you thought would last forever.

You may be grieving a loved one whose death you were never prepared for.

You may be grieving an opportunity that slipped away too quickly.

You may be grieving the body you had before having a baby.

You may be grieving the old version of yourself that you wish so badly you could get back to.

But here is the brighter side of things: there is light at the end of the tunnel.

To grieve something you have lost shows that you loved deeply, and that is what makes it beautiful.

You are going to be okay. I know it is hard right now, but you will be alright.

Your spark will be found again, your joy will be restored, and peace will find you.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

I find so much peace in this verse because I know that the Lord is near when I am struggling and it feels like I cannot find my way.

Grieving does not mean you are weak. It is simply a place where you must continue rebuilding. Grief may shake you, but it can never completely break you.

I do not know what every reader is grieving today, but I am here to say:

Keep going. You are not alone in this walk.

I love you all. Be blessed.
